Today we traveled to Gjirokaster

Had a wonderful afternoon traipsing the town and hillside like mountain goats. Going down what we thought were roads and ending up on goat tracks or in people's gardens .... No one seemed mind and we were met with smiles and waves - not much English spoke here. We are staying in a place close to the castle and it has stone walls downstairs. I've drunk my way though some Albanian coffee .... Homemade by the mum of where we are staying. Great views and quiet  up on the hillside. Today we explored the town,Zekate House - three story, 1811 ottoman era home. It was beautiful then onto the castle, a small disappointment due to no English in the signs.
