Xmas dinner and pressies 29th December, 2014

Home safe and sound and DRY from Sri Lanka. What an experience it was. Christmas dinner of roast chicken and veges followed by opening pressies.

Xmas Day

Poured with rain for five days. Severe flooding. Xmas day a bust but we met another family at the Treehouse so kids had fun playing together and we had other adult company for the day.

Safari Adventure

Merry Xmas to everyone. We hope you have fabulous day with family and great weather for swimming. So far it's rained ever day we've been here so I guess more rain for Xmas day!

Day Five

Walked up Little Adam's Peak in the rain. Checked out Rawana Waterfalls on the way to Yala Safari Park. Morning safari arranged for tomorrow. 

Day Four

Cattle class journey - 2 hours took 5 but it was lots of fun and great views through the mist and rain. Kameron tested the toilet - hole onto the track! 

Eating local. Kam is getting better at experimenting!!

Day Three

Temple of the Tooth Relic and Botannical Gardens. Temple pics on camera so have to wait til Oman to post.

Day two

Today we stopped at spice/herbal garden. There's a potion and a lotion for everything! Started with hot chocolate made with banana essence. Facials for all, hair removal cream, energy tonic, back and neck/head massages. Jeepers we're going to look stunning in 2015!

Then we stopped at jewellery factory. I am now new owner of blue sapphire earrings!

Then we stopped and kids got small placards with names and pictures on. Very clever.
